Archived from groups: microsoft>public>inetserver>iis (more info?)

Hello all,

I am having a problem starting my IIS service on my home
computer. I have the win xp professional operating system
and I installed the IIS that came on the instalation cd
of win xp. After I installed the the IIS, I noticed that
the "default web site" is in "stoped" mode. When I tryed
to activate it,it gave me an unusual error :

"Unexpected Error 0x8ffe2740"

If any of you know any thing about this error, please and
me an answer.

Thanks,
koby.
