Hi

After 3 days of trying , I have finally managed to get into (via the net) my
..www site on my computer.

But it is not opening as I expected.

I get a directory like an FTP server.

I have checked the default page option and index.htm is in the wwwroot
folder with the rest of the files, so why doesn't it open on home page?

Thanks in advance

Dave Neve

If you disable directory browsing, you won't get the file list. But
if your default page doesn't exist, as specified in the default page
list, you have to specify the file in the URL.

Hello Dave,

Is Directory Browing enabled?

In IIS Manager, right click the website and click Properties.

Please also make sure that you have enabled "Default Document", and not
only have the file in the list.
