Archived from groups: microsoft>public>inetserver>iis (more info?)

I am looking for a program that will prevent online
resources declared in IIS from being transferred to other
computers. I want to make sure that the files cannot be
cached/ saved/ downloaded by unauthorized surfers.

Does any one know of a solution??.

Bill

Some type of authentication will be needed. Now if this is an internet site, that does not require any authentication, and anybody can
browse the site, then they would have access to the files anyway.

You can implement a session-based asp application (or .NET), which you could require the user to enter the site through a certain page,
etc. These guys could better help you in that respect:
microsoft.public.inetserver.asp.general

Thank you. I hope this information is helpful.
