Post subject: IIS 'DEFAULT WEBSITE' Accidental deleted, Need Restored of JOB is GONE! Archived from groups: microsoft>public>inetserver>iis (more info?)

Accidental deletion of the 'Default Web Site' in IIS on
server, have backup that is 14 days old, can do a backup
but do not want to overwrite all of deive c. Want to do a
selective backup of IIS ONLY. Do not knwo where this is,
perhaps it is c:\winnt\system32?
REALLY NEED HELP, JOB is at risk, especially since I am
the one who did this!

Restore %SystemRoot%\System32\Inetsrv\metabase.bin, and the files in your
web root. That should do the trick.
