Post subject: DCOM Error
Archived from groups: microsoft>public>inetserver>iis (more info?)
Everytime I try to browse the Default Web site it gives me
a 500 error and the event log contains a DCOM error as
shown below.

Why is this happening?

DCOM got error "Overlapped I/O operation is in progress. "
and was unable to logon .\IWAM_CSERVER6 in order to run
the server:
{3D14228D-FBE1-11D0-995D-00C04FD919C1}

I have the same problem. There is also a w3svc error to
go along with the DCOM error. When I check the iwam
account in AD, it is locked out.

I fixed it- Rather I reinstalled and all worked fine.
Had to Evict Node from Cluster, Remove Cluster Service
and IIS and Reinstall and join cluster.

I uninstalled IIS and re-installed it. (IIS = Internet
Information Services)

In your earlier post you had mentioned that your Iwam-
account was locked out. Re-enable this account and your
problem may go away at least temporarily.
