| I decided to retire a few years ago. Now a friend of a friend has asked
me to do a site and I have agreed. But I have no idea what the going
rates are. Can someone give me a ballpark idea for the Pacific Northwest
area?
Thanks!

Don't work for friends

Somewhere between $25 and $125/hr, depending on the language, expertise
required, developer's experience, what the user wants and about 996 other factors.
It's really wide open.

Depends on what you want to buy yourself for Christmas. Like an iPod
touch, flat rate price.
