Post subject: Creating subweb accounts that have only one user
Archived from groups: microsoft>public>inetserver>iis (more info?)

I just intalled the IIS 6 on the 2003 server and want to create subaccounts
that allows the user to upload websites. I need for anyone that access the
server via FTP only access their own folder, can anyone help?

Mr. Cochran,

thanks for your help i got the FTP to work but wa not able to isolate the
users. I went to this link

and got stuck in step 4 of "To create a new FTP site that isolates users".
Nothing came up about FTP User Isolation Credentials. I was able to have
users FTP to their own folders but the users where able to view and download
other user's file. The user was not able to upload to other directories exept
the one assigned.
Any ideas
