Post subject: Creating 2nd ftp site on box with single NIC
Archived from groups: microsoft>public>inetserver>iis (more info?)

Hi,

I created my first ftp site with port 21 default. Then from the IIS window
I right click on ftp sites > New > and then follow the wizard to create a 2nd
ftp site using port 50000. Then I get a red error sign in the left pane.
How do I find out what the error is? Am I using the right method to create a
second ftp site?

Thanks!

The error sign looks like a red stop sign with the word error instead of
stop. I cannot properly create the 2nd site so no, I cannot start the 2nd
ftp site (so I temporarily deleted it). I do not know where to look for
error msgs during the ftp site creation wizard. There is nothing in the
eventlogs.

Thanks.

Try to create again, I can create many ftp sites and run it as long as the
binding ip/ports are different.
