I came across a nice wysiwyg web based editor *and* business model. I have
seen many different cms and webbased editors but they are mostly an html
text area editors where you only edit part of the web page and only the
visible part a webpage. Also most of the cms systems I found where
databases driven. The content comes from the database instead of html
files.
This one lets you choose a template from available ones and the templates
are good quality ones, then it brings up a page for editing. The cool
features I noticed are: the ability to overlay text over your images, use
images either from your machine or server, get images properties, the use
of their own right-click menu, the ability to edit the whole html code and
not just the section between the body tags like most others do.
Too bad this works in IE only.
I noticed that the view source is disabled but it's not hard to peek at
html.
If anyone knows a similar site, let us know. I am only interested in ones
where you can edit the *whole page* in html and gui modes.
