Archived from groups: alt>apache>configuration (more info?)

I have been trying for several weeks to get Apache to recognize PHP. The
Apache itself was working fine, but when I tried to configure httpd.conf to
tell Apache about the existence of PHP it 'hiccoughed'. At first I got a
message about the following:

LoadModule php5_module C:/php/php5apache2.dll

could not be found. I discovered that the pathname was in error and
corrected that problem.

However, now I am getting a message saying:

FastCgiServer "c;/php/php.exe" is a directory

The actual line of code that it is complaining about is:

FastCgiServer "c;/php/php.exe" -processes 5

Does anyone know what the problem is or may be and how to fix it.

FastCgiServer "c:/php/php.exe" -processes 5

Yes, is that what you are saying. If so that is just a typo in this message
not in httpd.conf. It still does not work.

Go to this URL www.apachemysqlphp.com and print the instructions there. This
will tell you how to set up Apache to work with PHP.

Good Luck.
