Archived from groups: microsoft>public>inetserver>iis (more info?)

I'm attempting to set up IIS to serve up multiple websites (each
assigned a separate IP address). A few of these websites require SSL.
I also have an instance of Tomcat installed on the same machine
running one yet another IP address, using SSL.

So, to recap, my configuration looks like this (each site is set to
listen on its IP address ONLY):

Website1:80 1.1.1.1 IIS 6.0
Website2:80 1.1.1.2 IIS 6.0
Website3:443 1.1.1.3 IIS 6.0
Website4:8443 1.1.1.4 IIS 6.0
Website5:443 1.1.1.5 Tomcat App Server v4.1.30

I've configured Website4 and Website5 without any problems. After
configuring the certificate associated with Website3, I attempted to
start the website and got a bind error. Does anyone know why IIS
would give me a bind error when port 443 is only being taken up on IP
1.1.1.5 and not 1.1.1.3? I know from past experience that IIS likes
to take control over port 443, so I wasn't sure if this was related to
that issue or not.

Any help would be gladly appreciated.
