I have an OSX box (Cube, actually) and I want to mirror the configuration to
the server my sites are on.
This box is on a dynamic IP address and behind a firewall router. it usually
has the local address 10.0.1.2 but not reliably. We have a Rendezvous
network and I've been accessing it that way.

How would I configure for this:

The www can find it (currently http://66.167.42.148)

The localnet can find it using Rendezvous name or by whatever means works

I can set up some "virtual domains" and configure them individually for
testing purposes

Hope this is possible. Nothing in the documentation makes it very clear.

Thanks.

You need a DNS. This has nothing to do with Apache itself, configure
your network.
