IISCnfg.vbs and IISback not working

I have had IIS up and running for over 10 moths with 10 different web
sites. All works ok I am in the process of planning for backup and
recover. I want to use the IISCnfg.vbs scirpt and iisback.vbs. On the
main server when I run it I get the following:

iiscnfg /export /f c:\test.xml

Error &H80041002: Not found



THis happens for each script. It seems like it can not find IIS. I
have tried all options, it does not compalin about them but gives the
same error. I can run the command on main server pointing to backup
server and it works. But local or remote to the main server, it
allways fails with the above error.

Is IIS not registered somehow and how can I fix this?
