Archived from groups: alt>www>webmaster (more info?)

I starting using a different domain for my site. Its now
http://www.harpsoft.com/ and it used to be http://www.harmonicagame.com/,
although at this point both domains point to the same nameserver/hosting.

Now in Alexa I'm ranked at 1.9M for one and 2.1M for the other. I'd like to
start getting rid of the harmonicagame name, what is the way to go about
this (so hopefully I have one site ranked higher, rather than two lower
ranked sites)? I'd like Google to recognize the name change as well. Any way
to do this?

I was thinking of making harmonicagame.com do a redirect to harpsoft.com.
Is this a good step?

Any pointers appreciated.

Joel

Just in case you hadn't realized....you want a LOWER Alexa rating. Two
million is a HORRIBLE Alexa rating. Anything under 100,000 is desirable.

Server side is best. Research "301 Moved Permanently" for your server.

Yes, like golf, duh.

Search for "harmonica" on Google, in spite of being 2M, I'm on the first
page. So for my limited market, its actually quite good.
