A warning to anyone thinking of using CHARGE.COM....
Look elsewhere.
That's my advice - look for another merchant company because this one
is full of hidden charges, bad service, lousy response time (most of
the time they don't even bother responding to you.)
We closed our business after about six months and cancelled. When I
cancelled I was emailing with a customer service person (one of the
rare occasions I got a response) and was never told they'd be nicking
me for THREE HUNDRED DOLLARS to cancel. $300! Hey, I'm going out of
business, I don't have $300!
Nevertheless, without response or warning they STOLE $300 from my bank
account this morning.
I'd been asking this customer service person for days on end to confirm
receipt of my cancellation letter. No response. In fact, THREE emails
over more than a week and NO RESPONSE from anyone.
Then BAM! - $300 stolen from me.
If I am successful in stopping ONE person from wasting their time and
money with this outfit I am happy. There are plenty of great merchant
companies out there but CHARGE.COM is NOT one of them.
Run, screaming from them.
