When IIS 5.0 is loaded the default website is stopped by
default it seems. When I attempt to start this an error
appears, the title is 'Internet Services Manager', with
the message being 'Address already in use'. I can't
consult the help file because the localhost must be
running.

Thanks

Phil Robinson

Hi,

Sounds like something else is already listening on that port (80). If you
type:
netstat -ano
in a cmd-prompt, it should give you the PID of what's already using the
port, and you can then go to Task Manager and look it up.
