In the article Q222028 on Microsoft Site, it is writen that such authentification doesn't work whitout AD, with IIS 5.0 and Windows 2K . We have a simply Nt domain and it may be the pb. Have you heard anything about ?

Windows Integrated requires a valid user/password on the server, and
won't work outside of Internet Explorer. Additionally, you have to
configure access for the uer or group on the system.
