Hello,

I have IIS running on Win 2k. The IIS has mutiple virtual servers created, each of which uses the same IP but different host headers. Example: SportsNearYour.rusmex.net.

In my DNS server I created several "virtual" computers under rusmex.net domain to allow for this type of access. I accepted default security settings when setting up these entries.

I can get to the server through HTTP protocol with no problems (http://SportsNearYour.rusmex.net -- works fine), but when I try to setup my Visual Studio to use share access I get Access Denied when I go to \\SportsNearYour.rusmex.net.

What setting do I need to adjust?

Hi,

Are you trying to do ASP/.NET programming with VS to your web server? If
so, point VS to <a style='text-decoration: underline;' href="http://SportsNearYour.rusmex.net" target="_blank">http://SportsNearYour.rusmex.net</a>
