Hi
Please excuse a slightly dumb question, but how can I get my FTP
browser to display a ".htaccess" file? I have tried AbsoluteFTP (v1.9)
and FileZilla (v2.2.24b) and Dreamweaver v8.
I *can* see a local copy of the file, and I can see names like
"jan.htaccess" but it looks like I cant see any file whose name starts
with "."
Any suggestions
With thanks

FileZilla: view- > show hidden files.
The FTP client has to send a 'LIST -la' instead of just 'LIST'

Hmmm well, the file should be named just .htaccess.
You would be better off just downloading the file off the server and then
just opening it locally and then just double click on the file and open it
with NotePad, or some other text editor.
Or if you use CoreFTP, http://www.coreftp.com you can just double click on
the file and check the box to edit it.
