Post subject: How to know which ASP page make IIS hang?
Archived from groups: microsoft>public>inetserver>iis (more info?)

On a production environment,
sometime the W2K server stop to respond because for sure
an ASP page with an error like a loop cause the memory and then the virtual
memory to grow up until the
Server Stop to respond.

How can I catch the ASP page(s) ?

Does it exist a tool or something like that to monitor the virtual memory
and if it is higher than a certain level
is able to list all the active ASP page on the IIS server ?

thanks in advance!

Hi Gian,

You can download the IISstate tool from http://www.iisfaq.com/default.aspx?view=P197. By using this tool you can capture a dump and then read the output
to determine where the problem resides.

Thank You. I hope this information is helpful.
