Archived from groups: microsoft>public>inetserver>iis (more info?)

Hey I have a quick question about IIS 6.0. Hopefully someone can help me
out.

I have a website that has ASP pages with Server Side Includes in them. I
have set the web extentions for ASP and SSI to Allowed and I setup up my
website the same way I did in IIS 5.5 but still for some reason SSI's are
not working.

I have tried doing what this microsoft article suggested:

http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;275447

but with no success.

What you say "not working", are you getting an error? What is it?
Or are you getting nothing?
Or are you getting something, but not what you expect?

Cheers
Ken

Here let me explain my overal situation a little bit better.

Basically what seems to be the case on my server is that when I am trying to
run ASP pages that required SSI to function properly I get the standard
Server Side Include Error:

Active Server Pages error 'ASP 0126'
Include file not found

/gheader.asp, line 1

The Server Side Include files are in a virtual directory that I setup the
same way I did for IIS 5.5 and it keeps giving me that standard error. Now
do the web extenstion settings set on the web application also apply to ASP
files in a virtual directory? If not then that could be my problem.
