I am using a basic asp.net login script that uses cookies. It is from a tutorial on the www.asp.net site and I am also trying the community starter kit from the same site.
I have it on my windows 2000 server running IIS both these systems login fine when accessed from http://localhost but when I try from http://webdev they dont work the site itself comes up but the login doesnt work
Can anyone help
Regards

And "doesn't work" means exactly? We need information about the problem. Any
error messages? What is the expected result, and what do you get?

Sorry for my vagueness i have not been using asp.net for long
The community starter kit is supposed to login and take you to the admin section and it does this perfectly when i access from http://localhost however when I access from http://webdev (the machine name) it just reloads the login page no error message at all.
