Hi,
I am still new to this space, I was wondering if you could suggest, if
I should use the upcoming release of Adobe CS3 or may be look at some
other alternatives that you suggest provide a better value for the
buck. Please do let me know what you think. Thanks!

Well, not enough information. Do you already use PhotoShop? Do you do
a lot of Photo editing? What kind of experience do you have? PhotoShop
is very much a professional application, and not cheap. PhotoShop CS3
is very, very nice (especially if you use a lot of photography in your
web sites). CS3 has a very nice new user interface, which I love, as
well as a load of new 3D features -- but to be honest if you are a new
person to all of this, look for something simpler. Paint Shop Pro is
pretty good; nowhere near as feature-rich or powerful, but who needs
all those fancy features if you are sticking together simple web sites? >> Stay informed about: ADOBE CS3 QUESTIONS |

Releases are always too buggy to work with! Stick with CS2 for a
little while until you start seeing a myriad of good reviews on CS3,
then buy. Let others work out the bugs so it doesn't affect your work. >> Stay informed about: ADOBE CS3 QUESTIONS |

Evidence? All the versions of PhotoShop I've used have been .0
releases, and I've never ever had an issue. >> Stay informed about: ADOBE CS3 QUESTIONS |

Only my own personal experiences, 7 and 8 all were murder to me at the
very beginning of their releases, all got better over time, but
initially there was any issues from bad filters to horribly large,
overused footprints even without any images active or open. I'm
currently using CS2 myself and quite happy with it, but it's also been
out for quite a bit and patched rather nicely since it's release. >> Stay informed about: ADOBE CS3 QUESTIONS |
