Our company had setup a Win 2k advanced server with CA and firewall. The user will log into the AD thru the firewall authentication using Win2k IAS. FTP was also setup in the AD server.
But when the user change password using HTTPS thru IISADMPWD, the user is able to use old and new password to log in after sucessful password change. This was remedied by the link
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;EN-US;152526#appliesto
But when the user close the IE and open again to log into the AD thru the firewall authentication, they are able to use old and new password. This is weird because logically speaking the accounts in the AD which FTP and the firewall authentication use should be the same.
Even after I removed the registry value as shown in the link, the same scenario happens.
I'm still trying to search the support web for answers.
Who can advise please?
