Hi,

We developed a asp application and depolyed it on IIS5.0
sOME-TIMES we get Internal Server Error , which occurs
randomly. In IE, i have turned off Friendly HTTP error
messages by choosing tools - internet options - advanced
to see the acutual error.it gives me -2147417842
(0x8001010e) with nothing else in the page. And in
Netscape it gives the error "HTTP/1.1 New Application
Failed".

let me know what could be the problem.

Regards,
Sachin

Hi,
This is an application problem. Are you by any chance
using ODBC? If so, try switching to OLEDB which is the
recommended way to connect to databases.

The actual error message means "The application called an
interface that was marshalled for a different thread".

Check the event log for events, they may tell you more.
