[2.0.47] Show access-restricted directories

Hi,

following situation at DocumentRoot:


/
/foo/
/bar/
/file.c

If I make "/foo" only accessible via ModAuth or restrict access via
allow/deny, Apache 2.x hides the directory "foo" if I visit "/" and
have a directory listing. Apache then just shows:

/
/bar/
/file

Question: How can I make "/foo/" visible? I reckon its been defaulted
this way because of security reasons, but for several reasons I want
to show it.
