They are apparently still down. That's way too long for a fibre outage or a
computer failure. Haven't heard what actually happened to them yet.

If you've got a backup copy of your web site, I can probably get you back in
operation within a couple of days hosted on BIZynet and using the BIZyCart
Ecommerce Server (www.bizycart.com). Hit <a style='text-decoration: underline;' href="http://connectsvcs.net" target="_blank">http://connectsvcs.net</a> for another
reputable company that can salvage things for you.

We are also using 2checkout.com and have not received any orders
lately. They also showed that they would deposit money into our account
last week and we still haven't received it. Today they sent an email
stating that we would receive our payment no sooner than 60 days. I
would not recommend 2checkout to anyone. You can call them at
614-921-2450 but we were on hold over 30 minutes long distance.

You will not find 2CheckOut on the

pulled them off several years ago and it appears they have not changed.

Be glad to hear about any that aren't on that page, include a secure gateway
for web site use, and have solid reputations.

I'd suggest <a style='text-decoration: underline;' href="http://authorize.net/solutions/gettingstarted.php" target="_blank">http://authorize.net/solutions/gettingstarted.php</a> and go through
Authorize.net to get a Merchant Card Acount you can rely on. Virtually all
of the shopping carts should be compatible and there's a wide selection
listed at <a style='text-decoration: underline;' href="http://www.authorizenet.com/alliances/carts_cert.php." target="_blank">http://www.authorizenet.com/alliances/carts_cert.php.</a> Pick your
shopping cart carefully. Just because the gateway works okay does not mean
it handles everything well.
