I am looking to outsource my customer support (primarily sales, a general
technical questions). The only company I have found thus far is
http://www.thelivehelp.com/packages.php

Does anyone else utilize a company such as this? Any other recommendations?
Do you find that by providing the prospective customer a direct link to a
sales representative, that your sales have increases?

TIA.

Jim

Outsourcing can work well for some products/services. Others need more
skilled telephone operators. You don't tell what your line of business is
or the volume of traffic so it's difficult to suggest more. For example:
will your telephone team need to take orders/process c/cards? will they need
to answer detailed technical queries?

There's a possibility that there could be much more complex queries, but I
guess they could always forward those to me. I am much more interested in
providing on demand answers to sales and general technical questions. All
billing would be handled on my back end.

I think I could provide a detailed FAQ for the operator to handle most of
the above scenarios. Do you have any other recommendations other than
thelivehelp.com?

We've researched bobcares.com, actsupport.com and several others. I've yet
to be impressed enough to trust them with my customers. If you want to
outsource your support, you're going to have to pay a decent amount of $$$.
If you're looking to save money on support, outsourcing isn't the way to do
it.

I just checked by livehelp and guess that you must be running a hosting
service in the USA - sorry, I have no contacts over there but generally ...
have you considered taking on someone to handle these calls for you? with
modern telephony services they can work part time from home. the right
person/people will help your business without costing a small fortune.

it's a common dilemma - I'd like to know how it pans out for you - I'm
considering something similar right now.
