JavaScript that Norton seems to detect as a virus. \

What difference does it make where it's been discussed.
I mean - it could be discussed all over the friggin' world
for that matter.

Obviously - the writer of the post somehow missed the
previous discussions - or he wouldn't be asking this
question in the first place. Therefore, This has been
discussed here before - means absolutely nothing.

Now if I had told you the differences in the first place there would be no
debate, would there? ) The difference that I can think of is that
JavaScripts that block the right mouse button can easily be overcome,
whereas a virus could be much more effective at knocking out the context
menu ;o)

Right, so publicly falsely accusing 1st Page 2000 (the FREE software) of
containing a virus is acceptable?

Even if it did contain a virus, well there are hundreds out there in
existance, its quite possible for a .exe to be infected anywhere along the
route from developer to distributor, not all viruses are well known...

If it has been discussed here then it is in the archive for all to find.
It's a valid point and when coupled with further notes of explanation (as
was the case here) it is also a helpful contribution.
